How to Use the Featured Category Feature?

To set a Featured Category from the Admin Panel, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Login as Super Admin

Login to the Admin Panel using your Super Admin credentials.

Step 2: Go to Category Section

Navigate to the Category tab from the sidebar menu.

Step 3: Add or Edit Category

Click on Add Category (to create a new one) or Edit (to update an existing category).

Step 4: Enable “Set as Featured” Option

As shown in the image below, you will find the “Set as Featured” option.
Turn this option Enable to mark the category as Featured.

Step 5: Save the Category

Click on the Save/Update button to apply the changes.

After saving, you can see that the selected categories (for example, AC CoolCare, Painter, etc.) are now marked as Featured Categories, as shown in the image below.

📱 How It Works in the User App

Once the admin enables a category as Featured (as shown in the image), the selected categories (for example, AC CoolCare Service, Painter, etc.) will be displayed in the Featured Category section on the User App Dashboard.

As shown in the image below, only the categories marked as Featured in the Admin Panel will appear in the Dashboard tab of the User App.

You can use this feature to highlight important, trending, or popular categories in the app.
