What is a Job Request?

A Job Request allows users to post their specific service requirements, notifying all providers available on the platform. Users can then choose their desired provider to get the job done.

Why Job Request is Needed?

Many times, users require a service that is not listed in the application, but providers may also be looking for new areas to expand their business. To address this issue, we are introducing the Job Request feature in your favorite Handyman app.

How to Create a Job Post

This document outlines the step-by-step process for posting a job request on the Handyman service platform.

Step 1 – Click on Post New Job Request Button.

When a user is looking for services not available in the existing list, they can click on the “New Post Job Request” button.

Step 2 – Click on the Request New Job button.

When user click on it will show a Form like shown in Step 3.

Step 3 – Fill in Job Request Details.

Users need to fill in all the required fields for the job request.

They can also add a new service if necessary or choose from the suggested services.

Step 4 – Add New Service

After clicking on Add New Service users can create a new service with relevant details. Once added, the service will appear in the suggested services list.

Step 5 – Save the Job Request

Users should save the job request after filling in all the required details and adding any necessary services.

Step 6 – Posted Job Request Appears on Provider’s Dashboard

Once the job request is posted, it appears on the provider’s dashboard, where service providers can view and bid on it.

Step 7 – Providers Bid on the Service

Providers can bid on the job request with their desired amount. They can submit their bids based on the requirements specified by the user.

Step 8 – Bid Confirmation

After clicking on the bid button, providers can enter their bid amount in a dialog. Once confirmed, the bid is submitted to the user for review.

Step 9 – User Views Post Job Bid List in Service Detail

Users can view the list of job posts they have requested along with the bids submitted by
providers. They can review each bid and compare the prices and services offered.

Step 10 – View Bid Prices

Users can view the bid prices from providers for each job post. They can compare the prices and services offered by different providers to make an informed decision.

Step 11 – Accept the Bid

Users can review the bid list from providers and select the one whose bid they prefer. Once they find a suitable bid, they can accept it to proceed with booking the service.

Step 12 – Book the Service

Finally, users can book the service with their chosen provider. Once booked, the provider will be notified, and arrangements can be made for the service delivery.
