1. Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Holidays<\/strong> feature in KiviCare allows administrators to manage unavailability for clinics<\/strong> or individual doctors<\/strong>. Marking dates as holidays prevents patients from booking appointments during those periods and helps ensure accurate scheduling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Accessing Holiday Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to the KiviCare Dashboard<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Navigate to Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select the Holidays<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n

    3. Viewing the Holiday List<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The main screen displays a table containing all upcoming holidays and off-days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Holiday List Columns<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Schedule Of<\/strong>
      Indicates whether the holiday applies to the entire Clinic<\/strong> or a specific Doctor<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Name<\/strong>
      Displays the name of the clinic or doctor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • From Date<\/strong>
      Start date of the holiday period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • To Date<\/strong>
      End date of the holiday period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Actions<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Edit (Pencil Icon):<\/strong> Modify holiday details<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Delete (Trash Icon):<\/strong> Remove the holiday and restore availability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      4. Adding a New Holiday<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      To block appointment bookings for a clinic or doctor:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Click the Add Holiday<\/strong> button in the top-right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. In the Holiday Of<\/strong> dropdown, select:\n
          \n
        • Clinic<\/strong> \u2013 Closes the entire clinic<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Doctor<\/strong> \u2013 Marks a specific doctor as unavailable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Select the Clinic or Doctor<\/strong> name from the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Choose the Schedule Date Range<\/strong> (Start Date to End Date).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Saving a holiday will automatically cancel any existing appointments scheduled for the selected clinic or doctor during the specified date range.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

          5. Editing a Holiday<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          1. Locate the holiday in the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Click Edit<\/strong> in the Actions<\/strong> column.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Update the schedule date range or assigned clinic\/doctor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. Click Update<\/strong> to save changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            6. Exporting Holiday Data<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            You can export the holiday schedule for reporting or offline use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Click the CSV<\/strong>, Excel<\/strong>, or PDF<\/strong> icons at the top-right of the holiday list to download the data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
