The Patient Settings<\/strong> section allows administrators to control how Patient Unique IDs<\/strong> are generated, displayed, and managed across the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patient Unique ID Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Enable Patient Unique ID<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

When this setting is enabled<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • The Patient Unique ID is displayed in:<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Patient List<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Patient Add\/Edit Form<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Patient Unique ID can be manually edited<\/strong> by the following roles:<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Clinic Admin<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Doctor<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Receptionist<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    When this setting is disabled<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Patient Unique ID will not be generated<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Patient Unique ID will not be shown in patient listings or forms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Use case:<\/strong>
      Enable this setting if you want to uniquely identify patients using a system-generated ID instead of relying only on names or emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Show Only Numbers in Patient Unique ID<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      When enabled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • The Patient Unique ID will contain only numeric values<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Prefix and postfix values will be ignored<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        When disabled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • The Patient Unique ID can include:<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Numbers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Prefix<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Postfix<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Use case:<\/strong>
          Useful if your organization follows a numeric-only patient ID format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
