Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Appointment Settings<\/strong> page allows administrators to control how and when patients can book appointments. It provides configuration options for booking timeframes, reminders, file uploads, cancellation rules, and general appointment behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Key Features<br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A. Restrict Advance Appointment Booking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Control the time window in which patients are allowed to schedule appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Allow Same Day Booking Only<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When enabled, patients can book appointments <strong>only for the current date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Future date bookings are disabled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Booking Open Before (in Days)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Defines how far in advance appointments can be booked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Example:<\/em> Setting this to <strong>60<\/strong> allows bookings up to <strong>60 days from today<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Booking Close Before (in Days)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Defines the minimum advance notice required to book an appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Example:<\/em> Setting this to <strong>1<\/strong> means bookings must be made at least <strong>1 day in advance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The <strong>Booking Close Before<\/strong> value must be smaller than the <strong>Booking Open Before<\/strong> value.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">B. Cancellation Buffer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Restrict last-minute appointment cancellations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Enable Cancellation Buffer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Activates the cancellation time restriction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Select Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Defines the lock-in period before the appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Example:<\/em> If set to <strong>24<\/strong>, patients cannot cancel appointments scheduled within the next <strong>24 hours<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">E. General Appointment Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Restrict to Service Session Days Only<\/strong> <em>(Pro feature)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This setting controls which session days are shown to patients when booking an appointment for a specific service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enabled:<\/strong>&nbsp;Patients can only book appointments on the days that belong to the&nbsp;<strong>service\u2019s own session<\/strong>. Doctor session days will be hidden for that service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Disabled:<\/strong>&nbsp;Patients can book appointments on&nbsp;<strong>both<\/strong>&nbsp;doctor session days and service session days.
