The Appointment Settings<\/strong> page allows administrators to control how and when patients can book appointments. It provides configuration options for booking timeframes, reminders, file uploads, cancellation rules, and general appointment behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A. Restrict Advance Appointment Booking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Control the time window in which patients are allowed to schedule appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allow Same Day Booking Only<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • When enabled, patients can book appointments only for the current date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Future date bookings are disabled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Booking Open Before (in Days)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Defines how far in advance appointments can be booked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Example:<\/em> Setting this to 60<\/strong> allows bookings up to 60 days from today<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Booking Close Before (in Days)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Defines the minimum advance notice required to book an appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

                • Example:<\/em> If set to 24<\/strong>, patients cannot cancel appointments scheduled within the next 24 hours<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  E. General Appointment Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                  Restrict to Service Session Days Only<\/strong> (Pro feature)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  This setting controls which session days are shown to patients when booking an appointment for a specific service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  • Enabled:<\/strong> Patients can only book appointments on the days that belong to the service\u2019s own session<\/strong>. Doctor session days will be hidden for that service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Disabled:<\/strong> Patients can book appointments on both<\/strong> doctor session days and service session days. However, if a day is available in both (e.g., Wednesday), the service session takes priority<\/strong> and its time slots will be used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
