Steps to Configure WhatsApp and SMS Notifications

Setup Twilio for SMS

  1. You can sign up for a free Twilio trial account here – Create Twilio Account
  2. To get the Twilio CLI connected to your account. Visit – Twilio SMS portal and you’ll find your unique Account SID and Auth Token to provide to the CLI.
  3. Copy Account SID and Auth Token and paste it to specific configuration section inside your admin panel
  4. (Optional): To get your first Twilio phone number for sending sms. Visit , head on over to the console and you will get phone number to send SMS if you don’t want any particular number to send message use your SID. Important Note: Receiver(user/handyman/provider) Phone/contact No must be in Twilio specific format ([+][country code] [mobile number] ) , Please Refer here for more details

Navigate to Settings from sidebar menu of your admin panel.

Enable WhatsApp Notifications

  • Under “App Configuration”, find the WhatsApp Notification option.
  • Toggle switch of WhatsApp Notifications.
  • Enter the required details, such as the SID (WhatsApp),Auth Token (WhatsApp) and Whatsapp Number (WhatsApp). 

Enable SMS Notifications

In the “App Configuration” section, locate the SMS Notification option.

  • Toggle switch of SMS Notifications.
  • Enter the required details, such as the SID (SMS),Auth Token (SMS) and Phone Number (SMS)) configurations.
  • By completing these steps, you can set up and activate both WhatsApp and SMS notifications in your system.
