Streamit Migration Process

If you are an existing Streamit user and want to upgrade to the latest version while retaining your old data, you need to perform a migration.

Note :- Before proceeding, ensure that you back up your website to safeguard your data.

Installing the “Streamit Import” Plugin for Data Migration

After updating the Streamit theme, you must install the Streamit Import plugin to migrate your existing data.

Follow these steps to proceed:

• Navigate to Streamit Options → Go to your WordPress dashboard and click on Streamit Option > Dashboard.
• Select Migration Option → Find and click on “Migrate Your Old Data”.
• Install the Plugin → Click on “Install Plugin”, and it will automatically redirect you to the Migration Page.

Steps to Migrate Data :

Step 1: Welcome to the Streamit Migration Wizard

The Streamit Migration Wizard is designed to help you seamlessly upgrade from Version 3.0+ to 4.0 while ensuring that your important data is correctly migrated.

Step 2: Start the Migration Process

Click on the “Start Migration” button to begin transferring your data from Version 3.0+ to 4.0.

Step 3: Migration Completed Successfully

Once the migration process is complete, a confirmation message will indicate that the upgrade from Version 3.0+ to 4.0 was successful.

Step 4: Plugin Deactivation Required for Compatibility

To ensure seamless performance with Streamit 4.0, certain older plugins that are no longer supported must be deactivated.

Step 5: Congratulations! Your Data Migration is Complete

The migration to Streamit 4.0 has been successfully completed! All relevant data and settings have been transferred to the latest version.

Now, it’s time to review your website and ensure everything is functioning as expected.
