How to Add Cast & Crew(Person)?

Before adding Cast and Crew to your content (Movies, TV Shows, Videos), you need to first add the person to your system. Follow these steps to add Cast and Crew:

Step 1: Navigate to the Person Section

  1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
  2. Go to Person → Add New.

Step 2: Fill in the Required Field

To publish a person, the only required field is:
✅ Person Title (Enter the name of the person).

Step 3: Fill in Additional Person Details

1. Basic Details

  • Author: Select the author of this person profile.
  • Status: Choose the status (Draft, Published, Pending Review, etc.).
  • Person Content: Add a biography or detailed description of the person.
  • Thumbnail: Upload a profile image of the person.
  • Person Excerpt: Provide a short summary or teaser for the person.

2. General Tab

  • Also Known As: Enter alternate names or stage names.
  • Place of Birth: Specify the birthplace of the person.
  • Birth Date: Add the birth date.
  • Death Date: If applicable, enter the date of death.

3. Category Tab

  • Choose Person Category: Select one or more categories (e.g., Actor, Director, Writer).

4. Tags Tab

  • Choose Person Tags: Select relevant tags for the person.

5. Personal Data Tab

  • Awards: List awards won by the person.
  • Official Site: Add a link to their official website.
  • Height: Enter the person’s height.

Step 4: Publish the Person Profile

Once all details are added:

  1. Review the information.
  2. Click Publish to make the person profile live.

🎉 That’s it! The person is now added to Streamit! 🚀
