Footer Settings

Footer Background

  • Select footer Background Variation:
    • Choose how you want the footer background to appear on your website. Available options:
    • Default: The default footer background as per the theme settings.
    • Color: Customize the footer background with a solid color of your choice.
      • footer Color: Select a color from the palette to set as the footer background.
    • Image: Use an image as the footer background.
      • Upload Background Image: Upload an image to be displayed as the footer background. Recommended for visually rich footer designs.
  • Action Buttons
    • Save Changes: Saves the current settings.
    • Reset Section: Resets the current section to its default settings.
    • Reset All: Resets all settings across the maintenance mode panel to default values.

Footer Option

  1. Display Footer Grid:
    • Enable Footer Grid on All Pages:
      Toggle this setting to enable a footer grid layout across all pages of your website. When enabled, the footer will be consistently displayed with a structured grid layout on every page. Disabling this option will hide the footer grid from all pages.
  2. Select Footer Layout:
    • Choose a structural layout for the footer section. Available options include:
      • 1-Column Layout: A single, full-width column for a minimalist footer design.
      • 2-Column Layout: Splits the footer into two equal columns for a balanced design.
      • 3-Column Layout: Divides the footer into three columns, ideal for more content blocks.
      • 4-Column Layout: Creates four equal columns, suitable for comprehensive footer content such as contact information, links, social media icons, and more.
      • 5-Column Layout: Creates Five equal columns, suitable for comprehensive footer content such as contact information, links, social media icons, and more.
  3. Display Footer Logo:
    • Enable Footer Logo:
      Toggle this option to display a logo in the footer area.
    • Important Note: This feature is only available when using the WP Rig Footer Logo widget. To enable and customize the footer logo:
      • Go to Appearance > Widgets.
      • Add the WP Rig Footer Logo widget to your desired footer column.
      • Upload your logo image and adjust its size or position as required.
  4. Action Buttons
    • Save Changes: Saves the current settings.
    • Reset Section: Resets the current section to its default settings.
    • Reset All: Resets all settings across the maintenance mode panel to default values.

Footer Copyright

  • Enable Copyright Display:
    This setting allows you to control whether the copyright information appears in the footer section of your website.
    • No: Selecting “No” will hide the copyright notice from the footer.
      This setting allows you to cotrol whether the copyright information appears in the footer section of your website.
    • Yes: Selecting “Yes” will display a copyright notice in the footer. This is typically used to indicate ownership and legal rights over the website’s content.
  • Yes: Selecting “Yes” will display a copyright notice in the footer. This is typically used to indicate ownership and legal rights over the website’s content.
  • No: Selecting “No” will hide the copyright notice from the footer.

Footer Content

The Footer Contact section allows you to display essential contact information in your website’s footer. This feature ensures easy accessibility to your business contact details for visitors. Here’s a detailed breakdown:

  • Phone Number:
    • Enter the phone number you want to display in the footer.
    • Ensure the format is clear and easy to read. Example: (123) 456-7890.
    • It can be linked for direct calling using tel: links for mobile users.
  • Location:
    • Add the business address or physical location you want to display in the footer.
    • Example: 123 Main Street, City, State, ZIP.
    • This can be enhanced with a clickable Google Maps link if needed.
    • Visual Mode:
      • A more styled and formatted display with icons or enhanced typography.
      • You can upload media files like icons for phone, location, and email for a visually appealing layout.
    • Text Mode:
      • Displays the contact details as plain text.
      • No icons or additional formatting, suitable for minimalistic designs.
  • Email Address:
    • Enter the email address you want to display for contact purposes.
    • Example: info@yourwebsite.com.
    • It can be linked for direct emailing using a mailto: link for user convenience.
  • Action Buttons
    • Save Changes: Saves the current settings.
    • Reset Section: Resets the current section to its default settings.
    • Reset All: Resets all settings across the maintenance mode panel to default values.

In above example, ‘Footer Layout 4’ was selected. This means Footer 4 Column would appear on ALL PAGES of your site.

Now, sometimes we receive requests from buyers where they want to show different Footer style (for menu or appearance) for different pages. So we have come up with this option where you can display a different Footer style for a particular page.

For example, if you want to display a different Footer style for about page then go to Pages -> Select a page ->Edit . In below example about page was chosen.

On next screen, scroll down a bit and you’ll see a section to choose Page settings styles. Refer to the screenshot below. You can now select any footer settings and save the page. Now, you have a new footer settings apply for your about page. You can do same for other pages also.
