Overview

The Device Login Limit feature allows administrators to control how many devices a user can use to access their account. This helps maintain platform security, reduce unauthorized account sharing, and ensure fair usage across all membership levels.

Note: This feature is particularly useful for subscription-based services where you want to prevent account sharing across multiple devices.

Types of Login Restrictions

We provide two types of login restriction methods, giving you full flexibility in how user access is controlled:

1. Default Login Limit for New Users

The default login limit applies to all new users and users without any membership plan.
For example, if you enable the login limit and set it to 2, then free users or users without an active plan can log in on only two devices at a time.

If the user is already logged in on two devices (e.g., mobile app and web browser), they cannot log in on a third device unless they first log out from one of the existing devices.

This ensures basic protection against account sharing even before users subscribe to a paid plan.

2. Membership Plan–Based Login Limit

Each membership plan can have its own device limit, allowing premium plans to offer more device flexibility and basic plans to have stricter limits. See full overview here: Set Plan based Login limit

User Side Functionality

To improve transparency and usability, users can manage their own devices through a dedicated profile tab:

Device Limit (User Profile Tab)

Users can view and manage all currently logged-in devices from their profile under the “Device Limit” tab.
From here, they can remove old device, track active logins, and manage their account security.
