Membership plans are ideal for users who want continuous access to content rather than renting individual items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set Up Content Restriction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Important Notes<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Paid Memberships Pro (PMPro)<\/strong> plugin must be installed and active.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All content restriction features (Free, Plan, PPV, or Either Plan\/PPV) are handled through PMPro.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the plugin is not available or inactive, none of the content restriction options will work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membership levels should be created in PMPro (required for <strong>Plan<\/strong> or <strong>Either Plan\/PPV<\/strong> access).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PPV settings are managed through PMPro. Ensure PPV is enabled and configured in your theme\/plugin settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where to Configure<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You set access per content item (Movie, Video, or TV Show):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Movies:<\/strong> Dashboard \u2192 <strong>Movies<\/strong> \u2192 Add New \/ Edit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Videos:<\/strong> Dashboard \u2192 <strong>Videos<\/strong> \u2192 Add New \/ Edit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>TV Shows:<\/strong> Dashboard \u2192 <strong>TV Shows<\/strong> \u2192 Add New \/ Edit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Then open the <strong>Membership<\/strong> tab and use the <strong>Access Type<\/strong> selector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Access Types<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>Streamit<\/strong>, for <strong>Content Restriction<\/strong> we provide the following options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Free<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan (PMP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PPV (Rent)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any One of Them (Plan or PPV)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1903\" height=\"890\" src=\"https:\/\/documentation.iqonic.design\/streamit\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/01\/option.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2300\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Free<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, all new content items are set to <strong>Free<\/strong>, meaning anyone can watch them without restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1900\" height=\"887\" src=\"https:\/\/documentation.iqonic.design\/streamit\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/01\/free.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2301\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Steps<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Membership<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In <strong><strong>Access Type<\/strong><\/strong>, select <strong>Free<\/strong> (default).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Add\/Update<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Now the content is set as <strong>Free<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Plan (Membership)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Only users with selected membership plan(s) can watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1903\" height=\"885\" src=\"https:\/\/documentation.iqonic.design\/streamit\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/01\/plan.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2302\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Steps<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Membership<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In <strong><strong>Access Type<\/strong><\/strong>, select <strong>Plan (PMP)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Choose PMP Levels<\/strong>, pick the plan(s).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Add\/Update<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Now the content is restricted to selected <strong>Membership Plans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Either Plan or PPV<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Users can access the item if they <strong>have the required membership plan<\/strong> <strong>or<\/strong> <strong>purchase a PPV rental<\/strong>\u2014whichever applies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1899\" height=\"885\" src=\"https:\/\/documentation.iqonic.design\/streamit\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/01\/anyone.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2304\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Steps<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the content item.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>Membership<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set <strong>Access Type<\/strong> to <strong>Any One of Them(Plan or PPV)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Configure <strong>Membership Levels<\/strong> (who gets access via plan).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Configure <strong>PPV settings<\/strong> (PPV Duration (Days), PPV Price, Discount(Optional)).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Add<\/strong> or <strong>Update<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Setting <strong>PPV Duration<\/strong> to &#8216;<strong>0<\/strong>&#8216; will grant the user Lifetime Access to the selected content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Now the content is restricted to <strong>Either Membership Plan or PPV rental<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is a Membership Plan?
