The Pharma Module is designed as a plugin that can be easily activated or deactivated by the admin. When active, new pharma-related pages become accessible, and when deactivated, the system reverts to its prior functionality, ensuring a seamless and controlled integration.

Pharma users can log in via both web and application interfaces. Their access is contingent on their account being active, which is managed by the super admin. They have capabilities to manage suppliers, add and update medicine details, process purchase orders, manage assigned prescriptions, and view their earnings and payouts.

Doctors, along with super admins, can utilize the Pharma Module within the prescription flow. They can select medicines added by the pharma, specify quantities and instructions, and crucially, assign these prescriptions to a particular pharma associated with the patient’s appointment.

Medicine amounts are calculated based on the entered quantity and selling price. The module also accounts for applicable taxes (inclusive or exclusive). Pharma earnings are determined by subtracting the purchase price from the selling price per medicine, multiplied by the quantity sold, with a further commission calculation based on predefined rates for each pharma.

Yes, the super admin can define separate tax details specifically for medicines within the system. This allows for accurate calculation of inclusive or exclusive taxes on each medicine, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.

The system includes a re-order level feature for each medicine. When the stock quantity falls below this predefined level, an alert is triggered, notifying pharma users and super admins that the stock is running low and requires re-ordering to prevent stockouts.

Absolutely. The Pharma Module offers a “Pharma Earning” section that provides a clear overview of earnings. This is calculated based on the margin between the selling and purchase price of medicines, multiplied by the quantity sold, and also incorporates commission values assigned to individual pharma accounts. A “Pharma Payout” section details all payouts made.

The Pharma Dashboard is a central hub for key performance indicators. It presents data on total medicine count, top-selling medicines, low-stock and expired medicines, total earnings, and total revenue. These insights are often visualized with graphs (bar, pie) and also include shortlists of newly assigned prescriptions and top supplier lists, providing a comprehensive overview for decision-making.
