First Google Meet Connection

Set up your clinic’s Google Meet integration in just a few minutes. This quick-start guide walks you through the OAuth 2.0 configuration required to connect KiviCare with Google Meet.

Part 1: Create a Google Cloud Project and OAuth App

1. Visit the Google Cloud Console and sign in to your Google account.
2. Create a new project (for example, KiviCare Google Meet).
3. Navigate to APIs & Services > Library and enable the Google Calendar API.
4. Go to APIs & Services > Credentials.
5. Click Create Credentials > OAuth Client ID and configure the following:
   • Application Type: Web application
   • Application Name: KiviCare Meet
6. In the Authorized Redirect URIs field, add the following URL: YOUR_SITE_URL/wp-json/kivicare/v1/settings/googlemeet/callback
7. Save the configuration and copy your Client ID and Client Secret. You will need these in the next step.

Part 2: Configure Google Meet in KiviCare

1. Open your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
2. Navigate to KiviCare > Settings > Google Meet Settings.
3. Paste the Client ID and Client Secret into their respective fields.
4. Click Save Settings to apply the configuration.

Part 3: Connect Doctor Google Accounts

Each doctor must connect their own Google account to enable video consultations.

Once connected, the status will update to Connected.

The doctor logs in to the KiviCare Dashboard.

Navigates to Settings > Google Meet Configuration.

Clicks Connect to Google Meet.

On the Google authorization screen, clicks Allow to grant access.

Part 4: Test the Google Meet Integration

1. Create a Virtual Consultation service in KiviCare.
2. Book a test appointment using this service.
3. Refresh the appointment details in the KiviCare Dashboard.
4. Verify that a Google Meet link appears in the appointment details.

If the link is visible, your Google Meet integration is successfully set up and ready to use.
