Installation & Activation

This guide explains how to install and activate the KiviCare Google Meet Addon on your WordPress website. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth and successful setup.

Step 1: Download & Upload the Plugin

1. Log in to your IQONIC Design account and download the kivicare-googlemeet.zip file.
2. Access your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
4. Click Upload Plugin, then choose the downloaded .zip file.
5. Click Install Now to begin the installation.

Step 2: Activate the Plugin

1. Once the installation is complete, click the Activate button.
2. During activation, the plugin automatically checks the database and creates the required mapping table:
   • wp_kc_appointment_google_meet_mappings
3. Confirm that the KiviCare Core Plugin (version 4.0.0 or higher) is installed and active, as this addon depends on it.

Step 3: Verify Successful Activation

1. Go to KiviCare > Settings in the WordPress dashboard.
2. Locate the Telemedicine section or Google Meet Settings within the settings panel.
3. If Google Meet Settings is visible, the addon has been successfully activated and is ready for configuration.

Post-Activation Checklist

Use the checklist below to confirm everything is set up correctly:

• Google Meet configuration is visible in the Doctor’s settings.
• Your website is running on HTTPS.
• The server is using PHP 8.0 or higher (PHP 8.1 recommended).
