Connect your clinic to Zoom in under 5 minutes. This guide focuses on the most common setup: OAuth 2.0.
🛠️ Part 1: Create a Zoom App
- Navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Click Develop > Build App.
- Choose OAuth and click Create.
- App Name: e.g., “KiviCare Telemed”.
- App Type: User-managed app.
- Copy your Client ID and Client Secret.
- In the Redirect URL field, enter:
YOUR_SITE_URL/wp-json/kivicare/v1/settings/zoom-telemed/callback
- Add the following Scopes:
meeting:write
meeting:read
user:read
⚙️ Part 2: Configure KiviCare
- Go to KiviCare > Settings > Zoom Telemed.
- Set Auth Type to
OAuth.
- Paste your Client ID and Client Secret into the respective fields.
- Click Save Settings.
👨⚕️ Part 3: Doctor Connection
Each doctor must now link their own Zoom account:
- Doctor logs into their KiviCare Dashboard.
- Goes to Settings > Zoom Telemed setting.
- Clicks the Connect Zoom Account button.
- A Zoom popup will appear; click Authorize.
- Status will change to Connected.
🧪 Part 4: Test Your Setup
- Create a “Virtual Consultation” service in KiviCare.
- Book a test appointment for yourself using that service.
- Refresh the appointment details.
- Look for the Zoom Join Link. If it’s there, you’re ready!
