First Zoom Connection (Quick Start)

Connect your clinic to Zoom in under 5 minutes. This guide focuses on the most common setup: OAuth 2.0.

🛠️ Part 1: Create a Zoom App

1. Navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
2. Click Develop > Build App.
3. Choose OAuth and click Create.
   • App Name: e.g., “KiviCare Telemed”.
   • App Type: User-managed app.
4. Copy your Client ID and Client Secret.
5. In the Redirect URL field, enter:
   YOUR_SITE_URL/wp-json/kivicare/v1/settings/zoom-telemed/callback
6. Add the following Scopes:
   • meeting:write
   • meeting:read
   • user:read

⚙️ Part 2: Configure KiviCare

1. Go to KiviCare > Settings > Zoom Telemed.
2. Set Auth Type to OAuth.
3. Paste your Client ID and Client Secret into the respective fields.
4. Click Save Settings.

👨‍⚕️ Part 3: Doctor Connection

Each doctor must now link their own Zoom account:

1. Doctor logs into their KiviCare Dashboard.
2. Goes to Settings > Zoom Telemed setting.
3. Clicks the Connect Zoom Account button.
4. A Zoom popup will appear; click Authorize.
5. Status will change to Connected.

🧪 Part 4: Test Your Setup

1. Create a “Virtual Consultation” service in KiviCare.
2. Book a test appointment for yourself using that service.
3. Refresh the appointment details.
4. Look for the Zoom Join Link. If it’s there, you’re ready!
