Terms of Service for KiviCare Telemedicine (Zoom Integration)
Last Updated: January 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By connecting your Zoom account to the KiviCare Telemedicine Addon (“the Integration”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply specifically to the usage of Zoom features within the KiviCare ecosystem.
2. Description of Service
The Integration provides a bridge between your WordPress-based KiviCare Clinic Management System and the Zoom Video Communications platform. It automates the scheduling, link generation, and status synchronization of video consultations based on your clinic’s appointment records.
3. User Requirements
To use this service, you must:
- Have a valid, active installation of the KiviCare plugin.
- Possess a valid Zoom Account (Basic, Pro, Business, or Enterprise).
- Have the necessary authority to install Marketplace Apps on your Zoom account.
4. Professional Responsibility & Compliance
- Medical Disclaimer: This Integration is a scheduling tool only. It does not provide medical advice. The healthcare provider is solely responsible for the quality and conduct of the consultation.
- Regulatory Compliance: You acknowledge that you are responsible for configuring your Zoom account settings (e.g., encryption, cloud recording retention) to comply with local healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (USA) or GDPR (Europe). We strongly recommend enabling “Waiting Rooms” and “Passcodes,” which our Integration enforces by default.
5. Limitations of Liability
- Service Availability: We are not responsible for appointment disruptions caused by Zoom API outages, WordPress server failures, or local internet connectivity issues.
- Data Accuracy: While we utilize Webhooks to sync statuses, we do not guarantee real-time accuracy if the Zoom API is unreachable.
6. Intellectual Property
The KiviCare Telemedicine plugin code is owned by Iqonic Design. The “Zoom” name and logo are trademarks of Zoom Video Communications, Inc.
7. Termination
You may terminate this service at any time by:
- Clicking “Disconnect” in your Doctor Dashboard > Settings > Integration > Zoom Telemed > Zoom OAuth Configuration.
- Uninstalling the “KiviCare Telemed” app from your Zoom Marketplace “Installed Apps” list.
