Google Meet Configuration

Create New Project

  • If you don’t already have a project and Click on new project.
  • Enter the project name and Click Create Project.

Enable the Google Meet API

  • In the Google Cloud Console, ensure your project is selected.
  • Go to the API Library.
  • Search for Google Meet Rest API.
  • Click on the Google Meet Rest API from the search results.
  • Click on Google Meet Rest API
  • Click on Enable to enable Google Meet Rest API.

Set Up OAuth Consent Screen

  • Step 1: Go to APIs & Services > Create Credentials.
  • Step 2: Click “Create Credentials” and select “User Data” and click on “next“.
  • step 3: Add the app information, including the user support email, app logo, and developer contact details, then click “Save and Continue.
  • step 4: Under Scopes, click Add or Remove Scopes, and select, or directly click on “Save and Continue
  • step 5: Select “Web Application”and Enter Application Name.
  • Step 6: For “Authorized JavaScript origins URI” enter the your website url Click create.
  • Click the OAuth consent screen and create app with necessary information.
  • Step 7: Copy Client Id or Download for getting all keys and click on save
  • Find credentials in dashboard dashboard>credentials
